Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Every operation — crop, adjust, filter, export — runs entirely inside your browser tab. Files are read into RAM, edited locally, and downloaded directly from browser memory. No data ever reaches a server.

What image formats can I open?

JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF, BMP, and HEIC/HEIF (iPhone photos). HEIC files are converted to JPEG automatically in your browser before editing.

What can I do in the editor?

Crop to any area, rotate left or right, flip horizontally or vertically, adjust brightness, contrast, saturation and exposure, apply filter presets (B&W, sepia, vivid, invert), add blur or sharpening, resize to exact pixel dimensions, and export as JPEG, PNG or WebP at any quality level.

What formats can I export to?

JPEG (adjustable quality 1–100%), PNG (lossless), and WebP (adjustable quality). The quality slider lets you balance file size against image quality before downloading.

Is there a file size or resolution limit?

No enforced limit. Very large images (above roughly 30 megapixels) may process slowly on older devices since all computation runs on your CPU. For most smartphone or camera photos there is no noticeable delay.
